First Class Events
Immersive First Class gatherings drawn from life aboard Titanic. An afternoon tea in the manner of the Verandah Café, and an evening recreating the final First Class dinner, each with live strings and the souls on exhibition, painted with authenticated coal recovered from the Titanic wreck.

The History
Aboard Titanic, tea was the one comfort that crossed every deck. First Class took theirs in the Verandah Café, among wicker chairs and potted palms, where the service was pastries and finger sandwiches and the view was open ocean.
The Experience
We are setting that table again at Paulette Café, a French parlour in downtown Conroe, where the pastries are made by a chef from Chartreuse, the same Chartreuse that appeared on Titanic's final First Class menu.
The Day
Held on the White Star Line's own anniversary. The company was incorporated in Liverpool on the sixth of September, 1869. The same week carries Margaret Brown's one hundred and fortieth wedding anniversary, and the day the wreck was found.
- Served on replicas of the Wisteria china, properly the Crown pattern, from Titanic's Verandah Café
- A tea blended from the leaf a 1912 passenger would have known

The Evening
Guests are received into a candlelit First Class salon. A five course dinner drawn from Titanic's final menu is served as a string quartet performs the repertoire played aboard the ship. Between courses, the story of each soul is told, and the portraits are unveiled for the first time.
The Close
The evening opens with the strings and closes, as the band did, with the hymn Nearer, My God, to Thee.
